IQAC -Quality Cell

The CMG GCW, Bhodiakhera, Fatehabad has established the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on July 25, 2012. The IQAC is working with a spirit that each tomorrow finds us farther than today.

The IQAC represents college teachers of different faculties and streams and actively involves key academic and administrative functionaries in the college quality enhancement activities. It also provides participation to the representatives of stakeholders to make consultative process broader and meaningfully beneficial for the students and the society. The IQAC is headed by a senior experienced faculty member as its coordinator to spearhead the quality initiative for the overall betterment of the college.

The IQAC takes active interest in maintaining good traditions of the college in the fields of teaching learning activities, co-curricular & extracurricular activities, extension & research activities, infrastructure and management of college affairs. Every year, the IQAC takes stock of the areas where there can be chances of improvements and suggests to take necessary measures to the college administration. In this way, it provides an institutional mechanism to set new quality benchmarks continuously. This cell is working for quality improvement with motto “overall development of students”. This commitment on the part of IQAC helped the college to get ‘B+’ grade in the second cycle of NAAC accreditation.

The mentionable IQAC activities are - the submission of AQAR (Annual Quality Assurance Report) to NAAC, the verification of APIs of the faculty members, the organization of activities for students and teachers regarding quality benchmarks and the suggesting improvements on the basis of feedback from students, faculty, alumni and other stakeholders. Presently the college IQAC is preparing for the third cycle of NAAC accreditation.
